East Hills Council of Neighbors is a catalyst for neighborhood renewal through effective, grassroots community organizing. For over twenty-five years the organization has worked on crime prevention, community building and home ownership initiatives. While these activities continue, the need for a greater level of redevelopment is also being addressed. Extensive change on Wealthy St., the corner of Lake and Diamond, and 920 Cherry have been the result of over ten years of grassroots organizing through East Hills. East Hills has always reached beyond the status quo to address the needs of the community as a whole.

We have worked diligently to create a sustainable community and now seek to create organizational sustainability to continue the work into the future. New opportunities continuously arise and we must be ready to rise to the occasion as we have in the past.

Membership

Join East Hills! We are happy to introduce our first annual membership campaign. Becoming a member is about making an investment in where you live, work, own, rent or play. All residents are already voting members of East Hills and we encourage you to consider a small donation to become and Active Member. Membership is also an excellent opportunity for business and property owners to advertise. And remember, your membership donation is a tax deductible gift.
